Terrence Gerard "Terry" Kunkel

Terry died suddenly, at his home in Powassan, on Saturday, May 24, 2025 in his 70th year.

He is survived by his mother Margaret Kunkel and was predeceased by his father Cletus Kunkel.

Terry has five surviving siblings: Ed (Pam), Brenda (John), Judy (Joe), Ken, and Karen (Rob); as well as ten nieces and nephews, and nine great-nieces and nephews.

Terry graduated as a Marine Engineer, working several years for Great Lakes Shipping; travelling the east coast and into the Panama Canal. Terry spent the remainder of his years in the Powassan area, living his life on his own terms, embracing nature.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Terry’s life and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
