BOOTH, Theodore William Thomas “Ted”
After a hard fought battle against pancreatitis, Ted never lost his sense of humour, although he lost the fight. Ted died peacefully, surrounded by friends and family, at North Bay Regional Health Centre on Sunday, September 4, 2022. He was 62 years old. Ted was predeceased by his daughter Amber Lynn Booth (1992-2011), his father Art Booth (1927-2015) and his brother Randy Booth (1962-2022) (Sheri of Commanda). Ted was the much-loved son of Lois (McDaniel) Booth of Commanda. He was the beloved husband of Karen Roberts of Commanda; stepfather of Bobbie-Lyn Roberts (Marc Larush) of Trout Creek and Kyle Roberts of North Bay; and proud grandfather of Bently and Raven; dear brother of Dan Booth (Lorraine) of North Bay, Kerry Booth (Marla) of Port Loring, and Patti O’Handley (Blair Osborne) of Geraldton. Ted was the proud uncle of Jason, Brandon, Jacob, Nick, Becky and Alan. Ted will be lovingly remembered by his extended family and many friends, particularly his pals Dave Marks of Trout Creek and Bert Soles of Commanda. A welder and millwright by trade, Ted most recently drove truck locally in the road construction and maintenance field. He was well known as the founder of the Forget Us Not Memorial Ride which he established in memory of his daughter Amber. Cremation has taken place. The Booth family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Friday, September 9, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm., and on Saturday, September 10, from 10:00 to 11:00 am. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Should you wish to make a charitable donation in memory of Ted, the North Bay Regional Health Centre MRI Fund (nbrhc.on.ca), is suggested.
