BRADLEY, Vesta “Irene”
Irene died peacefully, at Waters Edge, North Bay. She was 98 years old. Irene was predeceased by her husbands Wesley James “Ireton” Bradley and William Alfred “Bill” South. She was the much-loved mother of Marvle Bell (Launie) of Gore Bay and the late Brandt Bradley (Mary of North Bay); Grandmother of Heather (Paul Cheredaryk), Darryl (Cathy Lamb) and the late Clayton; Great-grandmother of Quentin, Will, Mason and Owen; and great-great-grandmother of Harper. The last of a generation, Irene was predeceased by her siblings Rosaline Miller and Austin, Les, Jim, John, Inez, Maryann and Frances Heasman. Irene and Ireton were farmers in the Powassan area for many years and were well known for their abattoir and butcher shop Bradley Meat Market. Visitation will take place at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, attendance will be limited; masks must be worn; hands must be sanitized upon entry, and physical distancing will be strictly enforced. All visitors must call ahead to reserve an attendance time, 705-724-2024. A limited attendance funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 1 at 1:00 pm. The service will be available via Zoom.
