Walter James Webb

After a period of failing health, Walter Webb died peacefully at Eastholme, Powassan on Friday, September 12, 2025, in his 94th year.

Walter is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Betty Jean (Fretz), of Arnstein. He was the beloved father of Deborah Clemens (Peter) of Loring, Cindy Mosher (Doug Thompson) of Port Loring and Doug Webb (Carol) of Loring. Walter was the proud and loving grandfather of Ryan (Liz), Peter (Kate), Rachel (Sam), Sam (Hayley) and Zak (Syb), and was predeceased by his granddaughter Alicia (1986-1988). He will be lovingly remembered by great-grandchildren: Chloe, Megan, Kyree, Alora, Wynter, Wyllow, Lilah and Abbie. 

Walter was retired as a locomotive engineer from Stelco in 1988, and that year he and Betty moved to their home in Arnstein, Ontario.

The family will receive visitors at Arnstein Baptist Church from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Thursday, September 18, 2025. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 noon and will be live-streamed, see link below. Interment will follow at Arnstein Cemetery.
