SCHIERL, Waltraud Maria “Wally”

Wally Schierl died peacefully at Nipissing Serenity Hospice, North Bay, on Thursday, February 10, 2022. She was 83 years old. Wally was predeceased by her husband Henry Schierl (1933-2000). She was the beloved mother of Mark Schierl (Leanne Lavigne) of Trout Creek and Keely Schierl (Dave Zimmer) of Huntsville and grandmother of Mason and Morgan. Wally was the dear sister of Herbert and Anno Hundt and was predeceased by her brother Joachim Hundt. She will be lovingly remembered by her partner Oskar Nopper of North Bay. Wally and her husband Henry were the founders and well-known owners/operators of Northern Meat Packers in Trout Creek until their retirement. A graveside service will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Trout Creek and will be announceed in spring.
