WESTERLUND, Wayne Bernard

Wayne Westerlund died peacefully, at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Monday, May 9, 2022. He was 71 years old. Wayne was the much-loved father of Wayne of Vancouver Island and Tracy (Ray Sutton) of Powassan. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Ayla Westerlund, Cameron and Jessica Gosselin, and great-granddaughter Holly. Wayne was the dear brother of Jim Carle and Leslie Westerlund. He was predeceased by his siblings Darlene Bates and Diane, Gerald and Richard Westerlund. Cremation has taken place. The Westerlund family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Sunday, May 29, 2022 from 11:00 am to 12:00pm, followed by a memorial service beginning at 12:00 pm. Interment of ashes will take place at a later date at Forest Lawn Crematorium, North Bay. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation are suggested.
