LEIGH, William John Marvin “Bill”

Bill Leigh died suddenly at his home in Callander, on Friday, November 12, 2021. He was 86 years old. Bill was the much-loved father of Lonnie Leigh of Oshawa and brother of David Leigh of Mississauga. He was predeceased by his sister Irma Hewitt. Bill was a special uncle to Karen Benoit (Guy), Bill Hewitt (Lauri) of Callander, Mark (Nancy), Kirk and Leigh (Sandy) Hewitt. Bill was retired from the MTO where he worked as a property agent for many years. Outside his work, automobiles were Bill’s life, modifying vehicles and racing cars – both as a driver and spectator. His love of cars bridged the age gap and he had friends across the generations. Cremation has taken place. No services will be held.
