JONES, Wilma Verna

Wilma Jones died peacefully, at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Monday, April 12, 2021. She was 90 years old. Wilma (Weller) was predeceased by her husband Herman Albert Jones (1930-2011). She was the beloved mother of Edward (Peggy) of Castleton and Faye (the late Phil Turcotte) of North Bay. She was the much-loved grandmother of Katherine, Edward, Amanda and Samantha; and great-grandmother of Douglas, Zachary, Colin, Tyler, Matthew, Charlee, Billie, Jacob, Ashton and the late Justin. Wilma was predeceased by her parents Grace (Beatty) and Walter Weller. She was the dear sister of Fred of South River and Ron of Pickering, and was predeceased by her siblings Agnes, Eleanor, Wayne, Margaret and Jack. Wilma and her husband Herman were longtime farmers on Highway 524 in Nipissing. The Jones family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of A1 who made Wilma comfortable in her final days.
