Wilma Wanita "Nita" (Busch) Dargie

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wilma Wanita "Nita" Dargie on January 17th 2026 at the age of 74. 

Nita was the loving mother to Scott Busch and Kim Howard (Andrew Latour). Nita's pride and joy was being a Nana to Austin and Helena Busch, Jake Howard, Megan Lefebvre (Jacob Attwater), Bradley Lefebvre (Mickayla), Emma Bastien (Isaac), Hannah, Keeghan and Kaeleb Latour. She had the privilege to be promoted to Great-Nana to Olivia-Grace Lefebvre, Warren Lefebvre, Lillian Attwater. Nita was predeceased by her great-grandson Colton Attwater.

Nita was predeceased by her parents William “Bill” Busch and Bertha (Storie), her siblings Evan Busch (the late Marlene), Edwin "Eddy" Busch (the late Helen), Dinton "Dinty" Busch, Eric Busch (Jeannette Eckensviller of North Bay), Ronald Busch (Judy of Powassan), Delores Grawbarger and Clarice Hummel (Ron of Powassan). 

She is survived by her siblings Del Crosetta (the late Renzo) of Port Elgin, Adwina Whitsett (Paul) of Val Caron, Rick Busch (Jackie) of North Bay, Glen Busch of Powassan and Noreen Leroux of Powassan. 

Nita brought so much joy to everyone who knew her, even though most of her time was spent behind the counter at Clements IDA in Powassan as a pharmacist assistant. She was always a helpful hand. 

The family of Nita would like to extend their gratefulness to the staff on the CCU unit for their kind, caring and compassion towards Nita during her time there. 

Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 12:00 to 3:00 pm, followed by a service of remembrance at 3:00 pm.
