Mac was a gentle, kind and caring woman, Mom, Grandmother, friend and neighbour. Her smile lit up any room and her sense of humour was delightful.
No matter how long we have someone, we are never really ready to say goodbye. Please know that todays sadness and tears will be replaced with smiles, laughter and peace for each of you, for having had the privledge of knowing and loving a woman such as Mac. She will always be remembered...

We want you to know that we share your grief in the passing of your mother. Rationally, we know that the timing is expected and right. However, it is surprising to feel a profound grief and sense of loss. Our mothers were an active, contributing and congenial part of Powassan community, We were fortunate to have grown up in loving families and supportive community. In this next year you may be surprised by unexpected moments of loss and need for one more time "to talk". We wanted to be with you tomorrow; but, our choir is taking part in the celebration of life of a long time member of our church . He had requested a challenging anthem and our numbers are small. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Wishing you God's peace. Joellen and John

Yes growing up in this wonderful little town and Armstrong Avenue with your family are times we will never forget. Our families were blessed to have the parents we had and the strong community to support us ... it does take a village to raise a child doesn't it?
