SALLIE, Elisabeth Mary

Suddenly, while on vacation with family in Bali, Indonesia on Thursday, March 30, 2016. She was in her 93rd year. Elisabeth (Conlon) was predeceased by her husband Gerald Joseph Sallie (1918-1992). She was the beloved mother of Gerald (Kim) of Bowmanville, Robert (Nancy) of Aurora, Beth Sallie of Powassan, Maureen (Doug Wilson) of Sooke, B.C., John (Sharon) of Thunder Bay and Debbie (Dr. Nicholas Prins) of North Bay. She will be fondly remembered by 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Elisabeth was the dear sister of Claire Allard of Ottawa and was predeceased by her siblings Kathleen Black and Frank, Hugh, Leonard and Charles Conlon. The Sallie family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. and on Wednesday, April 13 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at St. Joseph’s Church, Powassan.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am. Interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Trout Creek, will occur at a later date. If desired, donations in memory of Elisabeth to the Stroke Foundation of Ontario are suggested.
