Dear Rose,
Our hearts go out to you as we just belatedly learned of this sad news. Although we are certain of your assurance of God's presence in your life, we are sure also of your aching heart. May your memories quickly turn away from the difficult time of the past year, to the many years of joy and blessing that Pat undoubtedly was to you and the many (including us) around him.
You've been in our thoughts and prayers since we learned of Pat's situation this past August as we we camped at Restoule and worshiped at Corner. The posted picture is so beautiful as it reminds us of the marvelous greeting smile that we looked forward to when returning to Corner each summer.
May you and your family be blessed and strong as the Lord leads you, without Pat, on your continuing journey in His service.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal - love leaves a memory no one can steal. With heartfelt sympathy in the loss of someone so special.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I was fortunate enough to have worked with Pat for many years. He was a wonderful teacher and a great friend. I'll always remember his quick smile, his special artistic talent and his witty sense of humour. May your many memories ofo Pat help to comfort you all at this difficult time.

My deepest sympathies to Pat's family. I wanted to share that Pat was truly an inspiration to me. As my mentor during my first year as Vice-Principal, he showed me the value of remaining humble, grounded and maintaining a sense of humour when faced with challenges. You could consider yourself blessed if Pat took you under his wings. Pat, thank you for your kindness and commitment to making a difference in the communities you served.

Dearest Family; I send my heartfelt condolences on the loss of this wonderful man. Pat was the principal at Argyle when I was in grade 8 and then years later when my girls went to Argyle. Always kind and understanding. Pat was also a Pallbearer for my Mother In Law, Olga Peever. My memories of him will never fade and may he rest in the arms of Jesus. The pic you have posted certainly depicts the man he was, always smiling. RIP Mr. Haufe.

Our sympathies to the whole family. Pat was a wonderful person and everyone will miss him dearly. I (Sharon) was privileged to work with Pat for quite a few years, and I have many great memories. I was also in the Corner Gospel Choir with him, and I always loved listening to him sing. He was a kind, generous, humorous, and loving person.
