Nelson and I were sad to hear of Karen's passing. On her last visit to the Gaspe with Eva and Molly, we thoroughly enjoyed our time together. She was fun to be with and had lots of get up and go. She talked about your family reunions and I had hoped to go to one before she had to leave us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. With love.

I met Karen through my sister Paulette who was a co-worker and dear friend of Karen's. Karen was a very kind and loving person to me whenever I was visiting Paulette.
She will be dearly missed by both friends and family. I'm thanking my God that she is free of her pain and in a much greater place. God bless all the family and friends left to mourn Karen.

I have known Lynn and her husband David Heltcher since grade school. I never had the chance to met your Mom Lynn, but after reading the nice and thoughtful comments here I know she was a wonderful person and Mother. What a kind sweet woman we have lost. I met Karen thru TOPS and enjoyed our weekly meetings. Later we reconnected thru the Golden Sunshine exercise group--she always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone--my sympathies to the family and friends who mourn her loss.

Guy , Wendy and Lynn, your Mum and I have know each other since the 50's and we had many happy times at Eastholme. I did not know she was sick, it is such a shock to see she has passed away, I will miss her. RIP Karen, my friend.
