It has been many years since I last saw Marilyn but I vividly remember her easy smile and her giggles. She always seemed to be in a good mood!
I grew up just down Paget Street from the Scrivens family and, along with my sister Vicki, spent many happy hours with Lorraine, Barb and Marilyn, running in the fields of lupin, playing house in our basement or board games in their front room. If we were lucky, we also got to clean up after the chickens and peacocks!
I am so glad to hear of the fantastic life that Marilyn lived and the impact that she had on so many. Being remembered as someone who gives "great hugs" is a great tribute. In her honour, I am going to try and give out more myself!!

Marilyn was always a 'special Angel' in our lives; you will be missed very much. How she loved to beat me at a simple game of dice after we had eaten dinner together, and she really did beat me most of the time. Love and miss you my dear.

I was saddened to learn of Marilyn's passing. Some of our fondest memories of her are when we lived across the road from Jack, Alice and Marilyn. They were a very special extraordinary family. Marilyn had an amazing gift to see the best in everything she did. We always enjoyed when she came to visit us. She defined live, love, laugh. We share in this time of grief but also share in the love and memories of "Marilyn ".

To all of Marilyn's family and friends.. my condolences. I loved this home town Sundridge gal. I shall forever remember high school mornings spent riding on the bus beside her; my bus buddy, Loved Marilyn for her very keen sense of humour, her generous ways, the way she loved to tease me, her undying friendship with me and the fact that she never missed sending me a Christmas card... Rest peacefully Marilyn... you were more than special... you were a joy to know and love <3
