Scott, Blaine and families,
We only ever saw each other maybe two or three times as children. My mother Shelby (Colley) O'Riley kept me well informed as to marriages and births in our family so I do know a bit about you.
While Murray was your father, he was my great uncle. He was just so much fun, kind, so easy going and gentle. I really loved Uncle Murray and I will miss seeing him but will think of him, Aunt Aldean, the house in Callander and the cottage. Provided in these are many wonderful memories of places and more importantly wonderful people I loved. My deepest sympathy.

Being Murray’s Daughter-in-law is a role that I have cherished. I lost my father when I was quite young and I am so thankful for the relationship that Murray and I developed over the years.
Murray recently told me that he enjoyed talking to me because it was so easy to do; it was such an honor to hear that and the fact is, I enjoyed our time together and our chats, probably more than he did.
I will miss Murray’s sense of humor, his gentle nature, his love, and the way he spontaneously made me dance with him, no matter where we were. Thankfully his kind mannerisms will live on in my husband, Scott for many years.
Murray loved deeply and unconditionally, our children have had one of the best role models and I am very thankful for that.
It is definite that Heaven is a better place with his presence. Good bye Murray, you are such a good person and Father-in-law.

Murray was one of kind. I have been friends with him through selling him cars back to 1988. Always a gentleman with a great sense of humour. I will miss him in my life.

I cannot tell you how much I will miss seeing Murray at our office. I enjoyed every chance I had to visit with him and we always shared some good laughs. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time.

My heart breaks with the passing of Uncle Murray. Our family has many happy memories of our time spent together. Circumstances deemed that it was not more time but we made the most of what we had. Our kids still talk about last summer, he made each of them feel so special by listening to everything, no matter how silly it was. We will miss him greatly.
