We were out of the country arriving home this week and heard of your news. Rob, hearing from you and your family after losing my mother at the same age as yours just a few short years ago meant so much and the same for Barbie when she lost her Dad quite a number of years ago. Mr. Loy, please know that we are thinking of your family and wishing you all the comfort that can be brought to you as you share your wonderful memories during this difficult time.

Our sympathy is extended to Bob and the Loy family. I remember visiting the Loy farm when biking to the Livermore homestead. We were always welcomed with homemade cookies and/or the smell of homemade bread. What a wonderful childhood memory! God blessed us with a wonderful lady.

Bob and family - so sorry about Shirley. She was a lovely woman who always has a smile. We could not attend the services for Shirley as we were called out of town due to a family emergency in Niagara Falls.
God loves to see angels like Shirley, especially one who can play the organ so nicely.

Dear Ellen and Loy family, my heart sank when I heard that Mum had passed. It has been too many years apart. She was a wonderfully warm and compassionate woman, that loved life and her family. To Mr. Loy and family. Mrs. Loy was my teacher ( Miss Doan ) the year the grade 3 class was moved to the Anglican Church basement due to renovations at the Public school. I vividly remember her as being kind and caring. She was always so happy ... laughing and smiling. I just loved going to school. The best school year ever. She treated us like we were her family and made learning so much fun. I am so sorry for your loss but know she will always be fondly remembered by me as a teacher who made a difference.
