SOMMERVILLE, Gavin John

Unexpectedly, on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury in his 81st year. Gavin Sommerville was the beloved husband of Margaret Joan (Dudgeon) of Powassan. He was the much loved father of Greg Sommerville (Carrie) of Barrie, Wendy Sommerville (Bruce) of Nepean, Rhonda Sommerville (Tony) of Toronto, Paul Sommerville (Kerri) of North Bay and Mark Sommerville (Corinne) of Chisholm; and grandfather of seven, Tyler, Gerry, Anthony, Danielle, Brandon, Corissa and Ariana. Gavin was the dear brother of Isabel Murray of British Columbia, Jean Hillock of Barrie and Grace Anctil of British Columbia. He was predeceased by his siblings Bob Sommerville and Janet Cooper. The Sommerville family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at Powassan Wesleyan Church on Monday, June 27 at 2 pm. Interment will follow at Boxwell Cemetery.
