HUMMEL, Noreen Theresa

Noreen (Lang) died peacefully, at Eastholme, Powassan, on Friday, December 18, 2015, in her 84th year. She was predeceased by her husband Carl Walter Hummel (1924-2002). Noreen was the loving mother of JoyAnn Osborne (Howard) of Trout Creek, Kim (Carol) of Powassan, Scott of Toronto, Carolyn Campbell (Richard) of Powassan, Betty-Jo Gibson (Guy) of Trout Creek, Sally (Kirk) of Powassan, Donna-Lynn Wallingford (Darcy) of North Bay, Darren (Helena) of Ancaster and her foster daughter Mary Sharp (Alan) of Vancouver. She was the proud and beloved grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Noreen is survived by her sisters Barb Mogridge of Powassan and Jeanette Eckensviller of North Bay, and was predeceased by her siblings Edwin Lang, Edna Lang, Leonard Lang, Clifford Long, Margaret Mechefske, Gordon Lang, Eldon Lang, and Robert Lang. The family will receive visitors at Sacred Heart Church, Trout Creek on Monday, December 21st, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 22nd at 11 am. Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery, Trout Creek.
